Some residents at a state funded housing complex face a 26 percent rise in their rent.
Fr. Scully House is a complex of 99 apartments near Mountjoy Square.
It was completed in late 2014 at a cost of 17 million euro.
The block was at the centre of a 7 month rent row between its owner, the Catholic Housing Aid Society, and the city council which was resolved just over a year ago.
However its reported today that some residents are facing a 26 percent hike in their rents.
In a letter the housing body blames the increase on new government regulations to set aside money for repairs and having to register with the Residential Tenancies Board.
