There are renewed concerns over the lack of supply of houses in Dublin.
A new report shows that there were 2363 planning applications in the first 3 months of this year.
That figure is down 40 percent on the previous quarter.
The study was carried out by the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland which says that planning permission is a good indicator of the number of houses that will become available.
