Dublin City Council has expressed serious concerns about plans for the largest off campus student housing development.
A complex of almost 1000 bedrooms is planned for the Docklands.
The council is worried about the design of the scheme, the amount of open space, and layout of the living areas.
Now the receivers have 6 months to redesign the site next the the Point Village.
Seperately the local authority has noted that the plans include some studio apartment which are permitted for off campus student accommodation schemes under the current city development plans.
Once built, it's hoped the complex will help with the student accommodation shortage in Dublin.
