It follows a number of rallies in East Wall over the last few weeks (pictured above).

A protest is getting underway in west Dublin this evening, over the arrival of asylum seekers to the area.

Clondalkin Community Association says it's holding the rally as they've received "no communication" from their local reps following the recent arrival of "900 plus refugees to the area".

The group claims local services are stretched to the max, with no cap on refugees and no consultation with local residents.

They're marching through Clondalkin village at 5pm, from the IBIS Roundabout to the South Dublin County Council offices.
