A postmortem is due to be carried out this morning on the body of a man shot dead at a pub in Dublin yesterday.
Gardai are investigating after the incident at Cumiskey's Pub on Blackhorse Avenue.
The man in his early 30s was shot in the car park of Cumiskey's Pub yesterday evening.
A short distance away gardai also found a burnt out car.
The man's body was moved to the city morgue last night, awaiting a post mortem this morning.
Gardai are appealing for anyone who was near Cumiskey's pub between 5.30 and 6 yesterday evening, or may know anything about the burnt out car, to contact them at Cabra garda station or on the confidential line.
Local TD Joe Costello says it bears all the hallmarks of a gangland shooting.
He's called for Cabra Garda Station, which is only open part time, to be fully re-opened.
