Details of a planned new Dublin suburb the size of Wexford town are due to be published soon.
South Dublin County Council is drafting proposals for a fast-tracked development at Balgaddy and Clonburris, close to Clondalkin.
If it's given Special Development Zone status, it means work can quickly begin on building properties to house 24-thousand people.

The details are due to be revealed in September.
Mayor of South Dublin County Council Paul Gogarty and Fine Gael Counicllor William Lavelle have both raised concerns the area will not be able to handle the extra traffic.
