Plans for almost 500 luxury apartments and a new hotel in Ballsbridge have been outlined to locals at a meeting.
The project will initially involved the demolition of the Clyde Court Hotel followed by the Ballsbridge Hotel.
Residents have some concerns about traffic, and a lack of facilities for local children.
The site was once the most expensive plot of land in the country.
Work on the project is set to begin in January.
