300 people - including four Irish - have had to evacuate a passenger plane on the tarmac at Dubai airport before it burst into flames.
Photos on social media show thick black smoke rising into the air from the Emirates Boeing triple-7, which had arrived from India.
Emirates Airline says there are no fatalities and all passengers and crew are accounted for and safe.
According to reports it happened after the landing gear failed. It led to the jet bursting into flames after hitting the runway.
