It all started when Equality Minister Aodhán Ó Ríordáin was asked to remove his 'YES' pin during the Saturday Night Show on RTÉ.
Brendan O'Connor asked Ó Ríordáin live on air to take off the pin, which represents the Yes Equality campaign.
Viewers immediately took to Twitter to voice their disapproval
