Fake news, alternative facts and now... fake hands!
Allegedly.
There's speculation a security guard walking behind Donald and Melania Trump on inauguration day had plastic arms.
The Internet theory is that his real hands are holding a fully loaded automatic weapon inside his coat (please take your mind out of the gutter).
Admittedly his hands do look fake in this grainy footage of the inaugural parade last Friday.
But when you look at the CNN coverage of the same moment, at about 40 seconds in, you can clearly see the Secret Service agent move his thumb and adjust his coat briefly.
To be fair, he does keep his hands in exactly the same position throughout the whole clip. We see what people are getting at.
But given the Melania 'frowning video' doing the rounds (which is sooo obviously doctored), we need to maintain a healthy dose of skepticism when it comes to these viral videos.
Any excuse to play a Father Ted clip though.
