Parents Banned From Taking Communion Snaps In Church

It's emerged that parents in Dublin are being banned from taking Communion and Confirmation pictures during the ceremony.

It's because the Catholic Church fears the pictures may end up in the hands of potential abusers, according to The Irish Independent,

All churches in the Dublin diocese have to follow specific rules when it comes to the filming and photography of children while they are on church grounds.

These rules were put in place by the National Board for Safeguarding Children in the Catholic Church in Ireland in 2008, in response to the clerical abuse scandals.
