Paddy Power is to cut up to 300 jobs in Dublin due to a merger with Betfair.
The two companies joined forced in February to become of one of the worlds biggest gambling businesses.
According to the Irish Times, one of the aims of the deal is to save €62M a year by cutting 650 jobs from its overall workforce.
Up to 300 Jobs here are expected to be up axed in areas such as legal, finance and HR as well as technology, trading and risk.
However the betting shops will not be hit.
Workers in Betfair's office in Ringsend will move to the Paddy Power HQ in Clonskeagh.
Dublin staff are expected to get 6 weeks pay per year of service in a redundancy deal.
