Over three thousand people are expected to take part in a run through the streets of Dublin today.
The Lord Mayor will lead the way for the five mile route this afternoon, starting in Raheny at three.
The event is part of the 5Alive challenge, which is a series of short runs designed to help people get fit for the New Year.
