Over 2000 To Take Part In Dublin IRONMAN Event

More than two thousand people will take part in the Dublin IRONMAN this Sunday.

Starting off in Dun Laoghaire, the participants will swim almost two kilometres, before a 90 kilometre cycle along Dublin Bay, through the city centre and out to Dunboyne, finishing off with a half marathon in the Phoenix Park.

A number of road closures will be in place along the bike course.

Times:

  • Swim - Scotsman’s Bay, Dun Laoghaire, 6.50am
  • Cycle - Dun Laoghaire, 7.20am (for first swim finishers)
  • Run - Phoenix Park, 9.30am (for first cycle finishers)
  • Finish – first expected professional finishers from 10:45am
