The country's in for some stormy weather in the coming days.
Met Eireann has issued an 'orange' weather alert for high winds expected in parts between now and Thursday morning.
Officials say stormy conditions are likely to develop overnight and tomorrow in coastal areas of Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo.
Gusts of between 100 and 130 kilometres an hour are expected.
