The Dun Laoghaire Lifeboat was launched yesterday after a series of 999 calls reporting an object crashing into the water off Bray seafront.
The volunteer crew arrived on the scene and spotted a very large... Mickey Mouse balloon.
The RNLI say they're happy to have helped one of their favourite cartoon characters.
