Man Due In Court Over Stabbing

A man's to appear in court tomorrow in connection with a stabbing at Beaumont hospital in Dublin.

It comes as Gardaí investigate five other stabbings which occurred on Halloween night - one man is dead and six others are receiving treatment in hospital.

A post mortem is due on the body of 21 year old man killed in the Liberties at 2:45am.

He was attacked at the Oliver Bond flat complex near Thomas Street in the city.

While in Beaumont Hospital a 19 year old man who was attending the facility suffered stab injuries in the hospital.

A 29 year old has been arrested in connection with this incident and is to appear at Swords district court in the morning.

Elsewhere one man is in a serious condition after being attacked on Temple View Avenue in Clare Hall.

The alarm was raised when Gardaí were called to deal with a public order incident at 1:10am.

In Blanchardstown, a man is fighting for his life after being stabbed last night a bonfire in Drumheath.

While on Priorswood Road in Dublin 17 a man received non life threatening injuries as a result of being stabbed during a row at about 4am.

Gardai are investigating all five incidents and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
