There are plans for a city centre Jamie's Italian restaurant with seats for up to 100 people.
However we don't yet know exactly where it will be or when it will be open.
The man who launched the Dundrum outlet, Gerard Fitzpatrick, has told the Irish Times he's "nearly there" with negotiations for a second restaurant in Dublin, and he wants it to be in the city centre rather than another suburban location.
It's despite Jamie's wider business being under financial pressure in the UK.
The closure of 12 sites is being blamed on high rents and debts of up to £70m.
Mr Fitzpatrick ran the Chatham Brasserie on Chatham Street which closed during the crash.
He hopes the new Jamie's Italian will be open for business in about six months time.
