Finglas, home to comedian Brendan O’Carroll, will this month attempt to set a world record on the number of Mrs Brown lookalikes in one place.
Businesses and residents in the north Dublin village are coming together to host a summer festival from the 13th to 19th of July, which will involve a range of family events.
The highlight will be a world record attempt involving the most people in one place dressed up as Brendan O’Carroll’s comedy character Agnes Brown.
Local Cllr Paul McAuliffe explained, “People in Finglas are very proud of our own Brendan O’Carroll and the global success he has made with Mrs Brown’s Boys.
To honour that success we are calling on all Agnes Brown fans to bring their aprons, scarves and rollers to Finglas on the 19th of July."
