A leading advocate for people in mortgage arrears is considering running in the Dublin West by-election.

A seat has been left vacant following the resignation of disgraced politician Patrick Nulty.

It's not known when the by-election will be held, but there's speculation residents in Dublin 15 will go the polls in the Autumn.

David Hall of the Irish Mortgage Holders Orgnaisation says he's thinking about running.
