The Irish flag is flying at half mast at Government Building and over Leinster House in Dublin today, and a minute of silence took place on Grafton Street just before the Christmas lights were switched on.

Candles have been lit outside the French Embassy on Merrion Square, and flowers and messages of sympathy have all been left for the victims of the Paris attacks.

129 people were killed in a series of terror attacks in Paris on Friday night, and over 350 others are injured.

These people in Dublin say it's hard to comprehend what's happened:

Meanwhile, there have been a number of arrests in relation to the attacks - including the family of one of the suspected bombers.
