There's worries that the migrant crisis might get worse, as smugglers take advantage of good weather in the Mediterranean.
A rescue operation took place this the weekend, which saw nearly 6,000 people rescued and 10 bodies recovered in the the Mediterranean sea by Italy's coastguard.
EU leaders intensified their response to the migrant crisis a fortnight ago, after 900 people drowned trying to make the journey to Europe.
It's expected the summer weather could result in more people making the crossing.
