A new opinion poll has revealed a major increase in the gap in support for the coalition parties.
Labour has plummeted to just six per cent in the ratings - while Fine Gael are up three points to 27 per cent.
The Behaviour and Attitudes Survey for today's Sunday Times also shows Sinn Fein up two points to 19 per cent, and Fianna Fail also up two points to 20 per cent.
