A 20 year old Ballyfermot man will be sentenced today for threatening to kill a number of gardai and two women.
The court heard Daniel Ennis from Croftwood Park told a female officer he would ‘make sure she was dead’ during a search of his
house.
Gardai were investigating a stolen postbag and the GPS led them to an area near the accused’s house in January 2014.
His aunt allowed them inside and Ennis threw a small dog and a paving slab in their direction. He threatened them with a shovel and also tried to throw a bike at them.
He ran upstairs and shouted down at one female garda with glasses ‘I’m going to stab you speccy’.
The court heard while on bail for this offence in May 2015, he then went on to threaten to kill two women and was also charged with damage to property and the possession of a firearm.
He’s pleaded guilty to all offences and will be sentenced this afternoon.
