A man who caused the death of a woman after crashing into a pole in Fairview while being chased by Gardai has been jailed for eight and a half years.
On May 29th 2014, Sinead Maguire was one of two passengers being driven by Eric Wanesboro of Cherry Garth, River Valley in Swords.
She died after the 27 year old lost control of the car shortly after failing to stop at a Garda checkpoint.
Speaking after he was sentenced today, her mother Lillian described her daughter as a caring and fun-filled person:
