A man is due to be sentenced today for killing a father of three during a street fight in Ballymun just over two years ago.
Jason Flannery was stabbed to death after being lured from his home while celebrating his daughter's junior cert results.
During his trial, the court heard David Brannock got into an argument with the victim's teenage daughter during a party at a friend's house.
She returned home to continue celebrating her junior cert results with her family and Brannock arrived sometime later but was asked to leave after a row with her uncle.
He returned 20 mins later and lured her father outside by knocking on a front window.
The 23 year old stabbed Jason Flannery three times just outside his own home in the nearby estate of St. Joseph's Way.
He’ll be sentenced for manslaughter today and he’s also due to be sentenced for attacking his victim's son and daughter and stabbing their uncle in the throat and stomach.
