A 31 year old man arrested in Britain, is facing extradition back to Ireland, in connection with the murder of Gareth Hutch.
He was detained in Essex at the weekend.
The 35 year old victim was killed outside his home on the 24th of May last year at Avondale House flats on North Cumberland St.
The UK National Crime Agency in co-operation with An Garda Síochána and the London Metropolitan Police arrested the man in the Romford area of London yesterday morning, on foot of a European Arrest warrant.
He is now expected to be extradited back to Ireland to face a charge in relation to the murder of Gareth Hutch.
The gangland feud has claimed 12 lives since it started two years ago.
A 39 year old woman was charged with the murder of Gareth Hutch on Saturday and has been remanded in custody to appear in court again on the 16th of June.
