A woman has been arrested after a man was stabbed to death in Drogheda overnight.
It happened at Rathmullen Park at about a quarter to one this morning.
The victim, a 30-year-old man, was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital suffering from stab wounds and was later pronounced dead.
A post mortem will be carried out later.
Gardaí have arrested a 40-year-old woman in connection with the attack.
She's being held at Drogheda Garda Station where she can be held for up to 24 hours.
