Last night was one of the busiest Halloween nights for emergency services across the country.
Dublin Fire Brigade processed 700 calls, answering one 999 report every 40 seconds, they also attended 193 bonfires.

One of its ambulances was hit with a bottle on a call-out in Balbriggan.

None of the crew were hurt - a reserve ambulance was put on the road while the original had to be repaired.
Firefighters also attended dozens of alcohol and assault cases.

Meanwhile a man is in a serious condition after being stabbed at a bonfire in Blancharstown.
