A 51 year old man has been shot dead in the village of Murrow in Limerick.
He's believed to have been attacked at a motorcycle clubhouse at Mountfune just after three o'clock this afternoon. He was taken to University Hospital Limerick, but died there a short time later.
The scene has been sealed off for a technical exam this evening, and the State Pathologist has been notified.
Detectives are appelaing for witnesses to contact them.
