A man has shot in Bray, Co Wicklow.
This gun attack happened just after midnight in the Heatherwood estate.
A number of shots were fired through the window of a house, hitting a 39 year old man in the upper body.
He's being treated at St Vincent's Hospital where his condition is described as serious.
A 41 year old woman who was also in the house escaped uninjured.
The scene's been sealed off and Gardai are asking anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area to get in touch with them.
