A man is in a serious condition in Beaumont Hospital this evening following a crash in Kildare.
In total six people were injured when two cars crashed into each other at around 12pm.
Three males in their teens or early 20s, travelling in one of the cars, were all injured.
Two were taken to Tallaght Hospital with serious injuries and one has since been transferred Beaumont Hospital.
A third person was taken to Tullamore General Hospital where his condition is being described as stable.
A man and two children, a boy aged 2 and 7 year old girl, travelling in the second car, were also injured and taken to Tullamore Hospital.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
