A man being questioned in connection with a fatal collision in Longford in the early hours of yesterday has been released without charge.
55 year old Bernie Kenny, who worked as a secretary for local TD James Bannon, died after being hit by a car in the village of Legan in County Longford.
The man had been arrested at the scene, but has now been released and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
