A man's being hailed a hero after rescuing a woman from a fire on the north side.
The blaze broke out at an apartment block at around twenty to twelve last night.
Four units of Dublin Fire Brigade and an ambulance rushed to the scene at Cromcastle Court in Coolock.
However by the time they got there, a neighbour had resuced a woman from the burning ground floor apartment.
The man's being hailed a hero after pulling the 45 year old, who was unconscious, to safety.
She was rushed to hospital where her condition is unknown.
Emergency crews are praising the neighbour for his swift action.
