A man in his 30's has died in a collision between a car and a minibus in Co. Longford.
It happened on the N4 Dublin to Longford Road late last night.
The 36 year old male driver of the car was seriously injured in the collision, which happened at Corboy in Edgeworthstown at around 11pm.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the minibus was taken to Mullingar hospital, however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
14 young passengers and two adult passengers who were on the bus were treated at the scene.
The road is currently closed to facilitate a Forensic Collision Examination.
Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to contact Granard Garda station
