There's been a stabbing in the north inner city last night.
Gardai have launched an investigation following the attack which happened shortly before 8 eight o'clock on Talbot Street.
It's reported witnesses saw a masked man stab the victim before fleeing the scene.
Passers-by ran to help him and he was later rushed to the Mater Hospital.
Gardai say he sustained minor injuries.
