A man in his 30s has been injured in a shooting incident in Ongar.
The gun attack happened at a house in Beechfield Rise shortly after 10 o'clock this morning.
The man was rushed by ambulance to Connolly Hospital in nearby Blanchardstown.
His condition is described as stable.
The scene of the shooting has been sealed off for a forensic examination while Gardai are appealing to any witnesses to contact them.
