In the past few minutes, a man has appeared in court charged with the murder of David Sheridan in the north inner city.
Donal Colgan of Killarney Court, Killarney Street in Dublin 1 is accused of stabbing the 45-year-old outside a chipper on Sunday night.
The 63-year-old accused was remanded in custody and is due to appear in court again next week.
