A man in his 60's has been taken to hospital following a fire in the city centre.
This fire broke out at a flat on Montague Street, just off Harcourt street, at around half past four this morning.
It's understood the top floor of the three storey building, split into five units, had to be evacuated.
It's believed the man in his 60s is being treated for smoke inhalation.
Gardai are investigating but are not treating the blaze as suspicious.
