A man remains in hospital this evening after a fight broke out between two men in south Dublin.
The incident occurred on Reuban Street in the early hours of this morning.
During the brawl, the victim, a 39 year old man was stabbed in the hand.
He received serious injuries to one of his fingers and it's believed he may lose it.
He was taken to St James’s Hospital where he remains this evening.
Gardaí in Kilmainham are investigating, but no arrests have yet been made.
