A Garda investigation's underway after a man was found unconscious with serious injuries in Santry.
He was discovered on a footpath on Lorcan Avenue at twenty to six, and is now in Beaumont Hospital where he's in a serious condition.
Detectives are looking for help identifying the man, who's believed to be between 25 and 35, with very tightly cut hair.
They say he's between 5 foot 8 and 5 foot 11 in height, and of stocky build.
When he was found he was wearing light brown boots, a green or khaki coloured roundneck T-shirt, and he also had a watch with luminous green straps.
There have been no arrests at this stage and the area where he was found has been sealed off for a technical examination.
