A 44 year old man is due in court in this morning after an attempted robbery in the north inner city.
It happened at a building on Berkeley Road shortly after half twelve yesterday afternoon.
A man threatened staff at gunpoint but fled the scene without any cash.
Gardai responding to the call arrested a man nearby and recovered a firearm.
He's due before the Criminal Courts of Justice later this morning.
