Man Critical Following Jobstown Incident

A man's critical in hospital after being struck by a car in Jobstown.

The incident happened after shots were fired at a house in the Kiltalown area at 5 o'clock yesterday evening..

A number of shots were fired at a house and a man in his 30s was seriously injured after he was struck by a car.

The injured man was taken by ambulance to Tallaght Hospital by where his condition is described as critical but stable.

A second man in his 20swas also injured. He's in hospital too but his life is not in danger.

Shortly after the incident a car was discovered on fire a on Mount Seskin Road.

No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.

A number of crime scenes are currently preserved for forensic and technical examination. An incident room has been established at Tallaght Garda Station. No arrests have been made.
