A 27 year old man has now died after an assault in Temple Bar. It happened on Thursday night in Cow's Lane, and the man suffered serious head injuries.
He was taken to hospital, where Gardai confirmed he passed away last night.
The Herald are reporting he was a father of three from Clondalkin.
Four men who were arrested at the scene in connection with the attack are still in custody.
