Gardai are questioning a man in his 20s over the murder of Eddie Hutch Senior.
The brother of the Monk was gunned down almost a year ago.
Eddie Hutch Senior was shot dead at his home at Poplar Row in the North Inner City last February just days after the Regency Hotel shooting.
The dad of five was the uncle of murder victim Gary Hutch and was also a brother of Gerry the Monk Hutch.
This afternoon gardai investigating Eddie’s murder a arrested a man in his late 20s on the northside.
He’s being held under section 30 of the offences against the state act and can be questioned for up to 3 days.
So far nobody has been charged with Eddie’s murder.
