A man has been arrested at Dublin Airport after authorities found him carrying a large amount of cash.
The 36-year-old, who is Irish, had over €500,000 in cash on him. He was travelling to Brussels at the time.
The money was seized under the Proceeds of Crime legislation this afternoon. It's the largest seizure of cash to date this year.
Revenue officers have been given three months to hold on to the money, while they carry out further investigations.
