A man's been arrested in connection with a robbery and assault in Clontarf.
Two elderly men was injured in the attack yesterday afternoon.
The robbery and unprovoked assault happened at around 12:30pm on the Malahaide Road.
A man walked up the driveway of a house and attacked a man in his 70s, grabbing his car keys.
A passerby in his 70s when to help and he was also injured.
The suspect fled in the car.
Both victims were treated at the scene, one of the was taken to the Mater hospital but he has since been released.
A man was later arrested at a house at Dolmen Court in Ballymun and a car recovered.
He's being held at Clontarf garda station.
