A man brandishing a sword and knives has been arrested after trying to storm Leinster House.
It's understood he was holding one weapon, while the others were hidden in his shoes.
Security staff were able to lock the main entrance and stop the man from entering the building.
He was detained by Gardai at the scene and taken to Pearse Street Garda Station.
