Two people have been found stabbed to death at a house in Cobh in Co. Cork this afternoon.
A third person, believed to be related to the victims, is fighting for their life.
Gardaí were called to a house at O'Neill's Place, Carrigafoy in Cobh at around 3.30pm.
They found the bodies of a man and a woman, both in their late 40s, at the house.
A female in her 20s, believed to be the couple's daughter, was also found there in a critical condition.
She has been taken to Cork University Hospital with serious injuries.
There is a large Garda presence and a large number of ambulances at the scene
The office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
