A man who is accused of attacking a referee at an under 15 soccer match in Tallaght could face a life time ban from the sport.
The assault is alleged to have happened at a game on Saturday afternoon.
The match had to be abandoned with the referee fleeing to the dressing room.
Three investigations into the incident are underway by the gardai, the Football Association of Ireland and the Dublin District Schoolboy's League.
